Deliverability Alerts
Straight to Microsoft Teams
Stay ahead of email deliverability issues. ValidPeak sends real-time alerts to your Teams channels within 60 seconds of any blacklist event, DMARC failure, or domain warmup drop.
What you can do
Blacklist detection alerts
ValidPeak monitors 200+ blacklists continuously. When a domain or IP is listed, Teams receives a notification within 60 seconds — including the blacklist name, affected domain, severity level, and a direct link to the ValidPeak dashboard.
DMARC failure notifications
Route DMARC authentication failures and unauthorized sender detections to your security or infrastructure Teams channel. Your team is notified before a DMARC issue affects a live campaign.
Channel-based routing
Different alert types go to different Teams channels. Operations, security, and marketing each get only the alerts relevant to them — no noise, no missed events.
How it works
Create an Incoming Webhook in Teams
In your Microsoft Teams channel, click the three-dot menu → Connectors → Incoming Webhook → Configure. Give it a name (e.g., 'ValidPeak Alerts') and copy the webhook URL.
Add the webhook URL to ValidPeak
In ValidPeak, go to Settings → Notifications → Microsoft Teams. Paste the webhook URL and select which alert types should trigger Teams messages.
Choose your alert types
Select which events send Teams notifications: blacklist detection, DMARC failures, domain warmup score drops, or all of the above. You can configure separate webhooks per alert type for channel routing.
Test the connection
Use ValidPeak's test notification button to send a sample alert to your Teams channel. Confirm the message appears with the correct format and content before relying on it for live incidents.
Frequently asked questions
Does ValidPeak support Microsoft Teams natively?
Yes. ValidPeak sends formatted messages to Microsoft Teams channels via Incoming Webhooks. No third-party connector is required — set up an Incoming Webhook in your Teams channel and paste the URL into ValidPeak's notification settings.
How fast are Teams alerts from ValidPeak?
ValidPeak detects blacklist events and DMARC failures within 60 seconds of occurrence and fires the webhook immediately. The Microsoft Teams message typically appears within a few seconds after that.
Can I send different alert types to different Teams channels?
Yes. In ValidPeak, you can configure multiple webhook URLs — one per channel. Assign blacklist alerts to your #ops or #infrastructure channel, DMARC failures to your #security channel, and warmup status changes to your #email-marketing channel.
Does this require admin permissions in Microsoft Teams?
Creating an Incoming Webhook requires the ability to manage apps in a specific Teams channel. Your Teams administrator may need to enable Incoming Webhooks for your organization if it has been disabled at the tenant level.
