In Salesforce, use Data Export or a list view export to download contacts or leads with their email address column. Select the records you want to validate.

ValidPeak returns a CSV with each address tagged valid, risky, or invalid, plus a risk score and specific failure reason for each record.

Use Salesforce Data Import Wizard or Data Loader to re-import results and map the validation status to your custom Email Validation Status field on Contact and Lead objects.

Bulk validation uses a CSV export/import workflow: export Salesforce contacts or leads, validate in ValidPeak, and re-import results to a custom field. For real-time validation on web-to-lead forms or within Salesforce Flows, use the ValidPeak REST API or connect via Zapier or Make.

Which Salesforce objects does ValidPeak work with?

ValidPeak validates the email address value regardless of the object type. Contact, Lead, and any custom object with an email field all work with the same ValidPeak API call or CSV upload process.

How do I store validation results in Salesforce?

Create a custom field on the Contact and Lead objects called 'Email Validation Status' (Text or Picklist). When re-importing the ValidPeak results CSV, map the status column to this field. You can then create Salesforce list views, reports, and flows that filter on this field.

Can ValidPeak prevent invalid leads from being created in Salesforce?

Yes — add a ValidPeak API call to your web-to-lead form handler or to a Salesforce Flow before the lead record is created. Only valid or accepted-risky addresses proceed to create a record; invalid ones are rejected at the entry point.
